How to draw this pad in a real CAD program such that it will import correctly?

I'm using AutoCAD, and have tried simple entities, solid, polylines, and on the import have tried not filled, filled, not embedded polygons, embedded polygons. Every which way, Diptrace screws up this very simple pattern.

Suppose you have closed outline in DXF file. If you don't have try attached DXF file as an example. Start Pattern editor, select "Pattern->Import from DXF". Convert DXF layer to Top Signal and enable "Fill Closed Areas" option. Press OK. You will get solid polygon. Right click on the polygon and choose "Convert to Pad". That's all.

It seems the polygons will fill only on the top and bottom signal layers. Also when the horseshoe is imported to a signal layer it comes as bunch of lines. Importing it to Top Assy it will come in with the arcs intact.
