#1 Post by aseng » 26 Mar 2017, 23:44

Hi All Master,
I am a newbie in this forum also just begin to use a Diptrace PCB Software, many time when I create a PCB using Sprint Software from Abacom (I have licence).

I have plan to purchase a Diptrace PCB Software.

At a meanwhile I still learn how to use a Diptrace PCB Software, I got download.

In this forum I want to ask for 2 thing :
1). How to create a text onto top layer or bottom layer with solder mask, sample under Sprint Software onto attached
'SAMPLE BOARD FORUM DIPTRACE'.
2). How can I create a customed library, example I want to make 4X20 LCD.
3). How to made a dimension for Width and Length, example I want to create 200 x 100 mm of size.

I hope anyone and master can explain me.

Thanks.....

1. You can select Top Mask or Bottom Mask layer from drop-down box on drawing panel, then select "Place Text" tool, left click on design area and type some text.
2. You can read in DipTrace tutorial how to create custom libraries.
3. Use "Objects->Place Dimension" from main menu to add a dimension. If you want to create board with certain width and length you can open "Objects->Board Points", specify board shape and sizes.
