Hi,
I've been using Diptrace for a few years and love it.
I've had trouble finding a part in the schematic capture section for the reed relays such as this one below for instance..
http://www.altronics.com.au/index.asp?area=item&id=S4100A

could anyone direct me where to find it, in which library, or what to type in the find component search box?

thanks.. or do I have to make the component myself in the pattern editor?

Cheers

It seems there is no the component in standard libraries. But it will take 5 minutes to create it using DipTrace Component and Pattern editors.

For the footprint (pattern), start out with a standard DIP-14 pattern (copy from DIP pattern library) and remove the 3 center pins on each side.

Thanks people..

Yea, I ended up making the part in pattern editor.
So easy hey?

Just for info, this dip relay is 2mm wider than a normal dip 14 package so I widened the body too.

Cheers to those repliers..

DipTrace is the best, now that it has 3D modelling!!!!
Well, actually is was the best even before that...
