I can run 2.4.0.2 OK, but attempting to run 3.0.0.2 on a late 2013 Macbook Pro (OS 10.11.6), it just briefly flashes an icon in the dock, but the program window doesn't appear.
Is there a debug log somewhere that I can look at?
To check the install process I installed 3.0.0.2 on a brand new Parallels Mac OS virtual machine and it runs fine, (although it does complain about the graphics mode).

Mac OS unable to start 3.0.0.2
Re: Mac OS unable to start 3.0.0.2
If you installed xQuartz after installing DipTrace, you need to remove DipTrace 3.0 (remove Wine prefix /Users/macuser/DipTrace 3.0.0.2/ and remove DipTrace from applications), install xQuartz (do not forget to reboot) and install DipTrace again.

That fixed it, thanks.sl_sergey wrote:If you installed xQuartz after installing DipTrace, you need to remove DipTrace 3.0 (remove Wine prefix /Users/macuser/DipTrace 3.0.0.2/ and remove DipTrace from applications), install xQuartz (do not forget to reboot) and install DipTrace again.
Re: Mac OS unable to start 3.0.0.2
I just installed DipTrace 3.0.0.21 on my new MacBook Pro (Late 2016, with touchbar), MacOS Sierra 10.12.2, after first installing XQuartz 2.7.11 and rebooting. It launches successfully the first time, but then when I quit DipTrace and re-launch, there is an error message:
"Program Error"
"The program Launcher.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience..."
Then I have to force quit out of DipTrace and Wine.
If I remove DipTrace and reinstall XQuartz and then DipTrace again, it will launch successfully, but only once. If I exit and try to launch again, it hangs just like before.
I have successfully used DipTrace on OS X 10.11.5 on my MacBook Pro (early 2011).
How can I fix this?

Re: Mac OS unable to start 3.0.0.2
Lets try to reinstall DipTrace. If you have any problem at any step please let me know.
1. Make sure the system has xQuartz installed. Otherwise download and install the latest stable version of xQuartz, logout and login.
2. Remove folder //Users/macuserdip/DipTrace 3.0.0.2/ if it exists. Otherwise do nothing.
3. Move DipTrace 3.0.0.2 from Applications to Trash. Do nothing if there is no DipTrace 3.0.0.2 in applications.
4. Open downloaded DMG file, drag DipTrace 3.0.0.2 from there to Applications.
5. Open Applications, find DipTrace 3.0.0.2 there and start the program.
6. The first start takes a while (more than usual). It shows Wine window during the first start informing about building the prefix then the window is closed and DipTrace is started.

Re: Mac OS unable to start 3.0.0.2
I followed all the steps for uninstalling everything and reinstalling and it still doesn't work, not sure where to look for error logs, but it pops up in my dock and disappears right away.
Re: Mac OS unable to start 3.0.0.2
What version of OS X is on your Mac? Please notice, DipTrace is not compatible with Mac OS Catalina.
