PCB Dual Trace

#1 Post by bravo685 » 06 Nov 2013, 07:44

Is there a way to create a trace that exists on multiple layers using auto route (meaning multiple smaller traces to the same point instead of one single wider trace). Even if the trace doesn't route the same path as long as it starts and ends at the same point. The reason I ask is I have a header that will not allow me to use the correct trace width for the current needed. Instead I normally run two to three traces to a point that are smaller in width. The problem is I have to do it by hand I would prefer auto route does it for me then I can move and adjust them as needed.

Autorouter can't do multiple thin traces on multiple layers instead one wide trace, but you can do it manually.
