This is my first Diptrace project, other than playing around in the past.

I'm making a connector converter, with pins from one connector going to another one. Pretty simple.

I was even able to build my own footprint in the pattern editor. I associated the 2 row header and my custom footprint in the schematic program, which got rid of the warning when I opened the PCB layout.

But after I do the "convert to PCB" set, I see the connector footprints, but no nets. The PCB summary page even says there are no nets. I tried the Update using ResDef, but nothing shows up. I can't see any ratlines.

I suppose the connectors in your schematic are net ports. Please replace the net ports with normal type components. If you used components from standard library (Ports_Sch), open Component editor and copy components you used in schematic to custom library, modify part type to normal and save the library. Then open schematic and replace existing connectors with ones from the custom library.
