Or 3d model editor like pattern editor to edit existing 3D models to create new one. For example all diodes has similar patterns. So i can create new 3d model via change height or width properties existing model.mgriebling wrote: 4) 3D models of all existing parts

I would like to see every part used on an Arduino Uno in the library -- no exceptions. (the Arduino is an Open-source hardware board, and they provide schematics, etc, so you can build your own) This would be a nice move from a marketing standpoint; there are a lot of webpages devoted to the Arduino, and a lot of them have eagle files because at one time eagle was the only free alternative. Imagine being able to post a message that says "The 300-pin Freeware version of DipTrace handles an Arduino board just fine, and every part that is on the Arduino is already in the DipTrace library".

Not really a library request but.......
It would be great if part manufacturers would provide component and pattern libraries as a product support function rather than just an engineering drawing as part of a datasheet.
This is the 21st Century after all.
If most PCB design applications could read the manufaturers component and pattern data and then be able to import directly into a library we would all save a lot of time and effort and avoid stupid mistakes.

We need to hand-stuff and/or rework prototypes, so the pads on all our custom SMT packages have 20 mil pad extensions beyond the recommended pad size. Any chance of providing such footprints ready-made?

Some components from Cirrus Logic (like the CS8414, CS8416, CS4334 and CS4354) would be a plus, since most EDA's don't include them (except for Eagle that has a tiny library). Also, displays from Kingbright would be great.
