I'm looking for a pattern for SMD electrolytic capacitors.
Is there anything suitable in the supplied libraries? (Before I go and design my own).

Also, the default capacitor component diagrams are for polarised capacitors. Surely it'd be better to give both options? (most capacitors I use are not in fact polarised.

For tantalum capacitors, you can find TC1306, TC1411, etc. patterns in "CAP_SMD" library. For aluminium SMD capacitors, there are not patterns in standard libraries.

I think, polarization mark on silkscreen layer will not harm you if you use non-polarized capacitors.
