Crystal Oscillator Inducing Noise

#1 Post by rsocor01 » 18 Nov 2015, 19:45

Hi,

I'm not sure if this the right place to ask this question. Can a crystal oscillator induce noise in a nearby trace. For example, if I run an SPI communication trace close to the oscillator, is there going to be any noise issues in the SPI line?

Thank you,

Robert

To make the oscillator circuit more resistant to noise, make sure there’s an adequate loop gain with good margin. It is also important to
check for a good amplitude level. So if this both requirements of oscillator are fulfilled than you don't have any issue in the SPI line.

I am not sure if the oscillator might act source of a radiating antenna and affect my SPI line that runs close to it. But, I guess that your post answers my question.

Hello,

I tried with this. It want effect to the spin lines. Check it with good amplitude level. It may help you.
