Wow. Nobody? Well, I'll try to help. Hope this isn't too late.

Once the component is highlighted, try the following...
1) Left-click on the arrow in the box displaying Part 1 (below the library component list) and select Part 1 from the pop-up menu.
2) Place Part 1 of the component into the schematic by left-clicking in the desired area only once.

Warning: If you left-click in the schematic again, another component, not another part of the original, will be placed.

3) Left-click again on the arrow in the box displaying Part 1 (below the library component list) and select Part 2 from the pop-up menu.
4) Place Part 2 of the component into the schematic by left-clicking in the desired area only once.
5) Left-click again on the arrow in the box, this time displaying Part 2 (below the library component list), and select Part 3 from the pop-up menu.
6) Place Part 3 of the component into the schematic by left-clicking in the desired area only once.
7) Etc.

DIP-enclosed integrated circuits are available with even numbers of pins, located at 0.100 inch intervals from each other for standard circuit board layout compatibility. Pin counts of 8, 14, 16, 18, and 24 are common for DIP “chips. Part numbers given to these DIP packages specify what type of gates are enclosed, and how many. May it will help.
