There is a problem with this. That length of copper will expand when heated, then as it cools down after soldering will shrink, putting mechanical stress on the trace. If you really need a lot of current capability and don't have room for wide traces, the best alternative is no trace, two through-holes and a length of non-stranded copper insulated wire.
