I use many hours on moving parts, lines etz.
Diptrace is frustraiting to use, as it takes so much of my time just to place/ move things around to meet the correct dimmentions. and then you have to alter the gridsize to make it right.

I work a lot with cad programs, and they all have the options of placing a dimmention AND ENTER A VALUE INTO THE DIMMENTIONS BOX and magic happens, cus the dimmentions line moves the object for you!!!

it would bee so easy to implement on diptrace!!

1. place a dimmention line
2. doubleclick the dimmention
3. enter the value in the new promt window
4. when submit/ enter , the program alter the x/y dimmentions on the objects,

By adding dimmentions constraints to Diptrace, would make the program 25% faster to finish my projects.

I agree to that. It would also be nice to have the option of defining coordinates based on the center point of square or a circle.

Just playing with PCB Editor, I can place a metric part anywhere on the PCB, Select it and change the X and X values to move that part to an exact location. I can change the grid to .1mm and use the arrow keys to zoom the part at .1mm steps to anywhere. All parts have the 'pick point/handle/reference point' in the center, it can be redefined.
